Join us for a meaningful journey with Project RED in El
Salvador, where you’ll have the opportunity to build genuine connections with
families who have endured unimaginable trauma and are on the path toward
healing and hope. This trip is open to current Project RED donors aged 18 and
older and is designed for those who wish to engage personally with the families
and local staff, fostering encouragement and spiritual refreshment. Throughout
the week, you’ll spend time visiting the families served by Project RED,
focusing on nurturing relationships. You’ll have the chance to share meals,
listen to stories, and participate in activities that promote trust,
resilience, and faith.
Trip Highlights
- Family site visits to local homes, building relationships, sharing meals, and hearing stories from community members
- Staff refreshment and spiritual support through devotionals, prayer, and worship to uplift the dedicated Project RED team
- Cultural exploration including a visit to a coffee plantation, local market, and experiencing regional cuisine and natural beauty
- Personal engagement with families who have survived extreme trauma, offering emotional support and practical care
What’s Included
The cost includes meals, lodging, in-country transportation,
ministry supplies, bottled water, and travel insurance. Airfare will be
arranged through Oak Hills Church.
Preparation Meetings: Attendance at a minimum of
three team meetings is required, focusing on team unity, cultural insights, and
service preparation.
