How to Apply for a Short-Term Mission Trip
Step 1: Explore Trip Options
Visit our Short Term Mission Page to view available trips, including ministry focus and trip leader contact details.
Step 2: Submit Two Required Applications
To participate in a Short-Term Mission Trip, you must complete both the Short-Term Missions Application and the Oak Hills Church Volunteer Application. These can be completed at the same time—you do not need to wait for approval before applying for a trip.
Your mission trip application will be processed once your background check is approved.
Step 3: Welcome to Your Trip
Once accepted, you’ll receive a link to set up your financial account for deposits, payments, and fundraising. Trip costs cover airfare, meals, transportation, lodging, and ministry expenses (sightseeing & souvenirs not included).
You’ll also be enrolled in Managed Missions, where you’ll access trip details, team meetings, and communication tools. Guidance will be provided to help you navigate the system.
Important Passport Information
Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your return date. If you are applying or renewing, please notify us immediately to avoid complications.
Fundraising Support
We encourage fundraising as part of your journey, allowing others to partner with you in prayer and support. We provide guidance to help you fundraise confidently and effectively.
